About the Company

QYS was established in 1994. They developed their own technology and pellet making processes to produce some of the most accurate pellets ever manufactured. Design

The .177 / 4.5mm QYS FT DOMED Roundhead Airgun Pellets are designed around the time-proved ‘waisted’ or diabolo shape. They are smooth-sided to reduce friction while travelling both up the gun’s bore, and through the air on their way to the target. Combined with the state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, this is what makes them such an accurate pellet.

This pellet’s Domed head is rounded and the body designed to be as ballistically efficient as possible. Together with the ideal mass for a .177 / 4.5mm airgun pellet, this gives the FT Domed Roundhead extra stability through the air on its way to the target.

As with any roundhead pellet, the consistency of shape is vital to achieve stability in flight. Good ballistic stability results in better downrange accuracy. Cheaper roundhead pellets are more likely to miss their target than .177 QYS FT DOMED Roundhead Airgun Pellets. This is why they’re so popular with FT, HFT and Benchrest airgun shooters, as well as hunters.

Uses

The design of this QYS pellet is suited to hunting and general pest control. However, .177 QYS FT DOMED Roundhead Airgun Pellets are also a good choice for FT, HFT and Benchrest competition shooters. The smaller caliber (.177 / 4.5mm) will result not just in a flatter trajectory, but also in higher velocities. In short, this pellet will perform brilliantly both in the field and on the range.

Suitability

The .177 QYS FT DOMED Roundhead Airgun Pellets are suitable for use in PCP (precharged pneumatic) airguns, spring-powered, pump-up and CO2-powered air rifles and pistols. They are suitable for use at all power levels, including FAC-rated air rifles capable of a muzzle energy in excess of 12ft/lbs.

Quantity

.177 QYS FT DOMED Roundhead Airgun Pellets are supplied in tins of 500. The tin has a screw-top lid. The base of the tin is also printed with a batch processing Quality Control number. This QC reference can be useful if you wish to purchase more than one tin from the same ‘batch’.
