Design

.25 AirForceOne Panther Airgun SLUGS are have a bullet shape (ogive), with a conical head. The round’s body is smooth, rather than ribbed for minimum friction in the air. It has a solid body with a solid skirt design to ensure a good seal in the bore. This means two things. Firstly, good power as no air escapes around the skirt. Secondly, good consistency between one shot and the next.

Additionally, this is a super heavyweight .25 / 6.35mm airgun slug. Heavier projectiles retain their power for longer when in the air, so they arrive at their target with more stopping power. And, of course, the bullet shape has a superior ballistic coefficient (BC) and improved penetration. This makes the .25 AirForceOne Panther Airgun SLUGS particularly suitable for hunting and pest control. .25 AirForceOne Panther Airgun SLUGS are also suitable for FAC-rated, high powered air rifles.

Note: Heavyweight airgun ammunition can be more efficient in PCP (precharged pneumatics), making them much more powerful. You should therefore check that your rifle with a workshop chronograph or muzzle-mounted chronograph to ensure it does not exceed the legal power limit

Compatibility

We recommend AirForceOne Panther Airgun SLUGS for use in AirForceOne air rifles and air pistols. However, this slug is also suitable for all .25″ / 6.35mm calibre spring-powered, PCP, CO2 and pump-up air pistols and air rifles. Because it is heavyweight airgun ammo, this also makes Panther SLUGS particularly suitable for high-power, FAC-rated air rifles that produce a muzzle energy above 12 ft/lbs.
