PAO Airgun Green Laser Sight Set

for Air Rifles and Air Pistols

The PAO Green Laser is an airgun sight set to suit air pistol and air rifle models, as well as airsoft guns. It can be mounted directly to the gun’s receiver* using its removable Picatinny mount (supplied) or to the scope using the ‘figure of 8’ adapter (also supplied).

* Please note that for 11mm dovetails, this adapter plate is required.

Why a Green Laser?

So why ‘green’, you ask – aren’t most lasers red? Well, there’s a good reason!

GREEN laser beams are much more visible than red lasers under DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS. However, if you specifically want a red laser sight, we have one here.

The science behind laser sights

You may wonder why green laser sights are so much more expensive than your common-or-garden red laser sights. So let’s explain…

Green diode lasers are a lot different than those common red lasers you see all the time.

In a 640nm red laser pointer, there’s a red-emitting diode and a lens to collimate (focus) the beam.

In a 532nm green laser (pointer or larger size), there’s a BIG infrared laser diode that generates laser light at 808nm. This gets fired into a crystal containing the rare-earth element “neodymium”. The crystal takes the 808nm infrared light and lases at 1064nm (yes, deeper in the infrared!). This 1064nm laser light comes out of the NdYV04 (neodymium yttrium vanadium oxide) crystal and is then shot into a second crystal (containing potassium, titanium and phosphorus.
