Accuracy

Accurate to +/- 1m – yes, that accurate! – the PAO Solar 600 Laser Rangefinder has an operating distance out to 600m (656 yards). While you may not shoot that far, it can be handy to work out the geographical lie of your shooting grounds. It will also read as close as 5m (5.5 yards). So it is suitable for all kinds of shooting, from air rifle and air pistol work, to rim can centrefire. It will show the range in either metres or yards.

What’s more, the PAO unit is equipped with a VHM mode. That stands for Vertical Height Mode. This means you can additionally calculate how high the target is in relation to the shooter, therefore making it perfect for ranging tree-going pests!

Magnification

Besides its camo coating and solar-powered attributes, the PAO Solar 600 Laser Rangefinder also features a viewfinder with a 6x magnification. This lets you really hone-in on your target – useful when you’re trying to pick out a small target within a cluttered background. The optics are matched with a 25mm front lens, which ensures a bright exit pupil (3.8mm dia). Additionally, it has a wide field of view (FoV) – 122m at a kilometre.
