Features of the Ekol Fowler Air Pistol
Barrel – precision-rifled, measuring 6" (152 mm) in length. Fully encased in a polymer shroud for protection, stability, and enhanced accuracy. The barrel is choked at the muzzle for improved pellet guidance and better accuracy, while the extended sight radius further enhances shooting precision. Designed for shooting lead diabolo pellets and BBs, though the rifling favors the use of lead ammunition. The textured barrel shroud aids in breaking and cocking the pistol under any weather conditions.
The barrel is a critical component, and its precision directly impacts the overall accuracy of the firearm.
Grip – finished in black. Ergonomically shaped, made from matte-finish, high-durability polymer resistant to mechanical damage. Features a checkered pistol grip and anatomically contoured finger grooves for a firm, controlled hold during shooting. Suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
Mounting Rail – in addition to the standard iron sights, the pistol is outfitted with a 22mm Picatinny rail, allowing the installation of optical sights such as red dots or scopes.
Safety Features of the Ekol Fowler Air Pistol
The pistol incorporates several systems designed to enhance user safety and shooting comfort. Its robust and straightforward design ensures high reliability and long service life.
- TruGlo – fiber optic sights with contrasting colored fibers allow for precise aiming even in low-light conditions. The enclosed front sight and the green metal-polymer rear sight are fully adjustable for windage and elevation.
- Anti Bear-Trap Safety – a mechanism that prevents accidental release of the spring during cocking, protecting the shooter’s hands and fingers from injury.
- Manual Cross-Bolt Safety – positioned behind the trigger to prevent accidental discharges.
